So today sis and I wandered around New Town Petaling Jaya because my sis and I were with the parents and they suggested we try out this hawker style prawn mee in New Town. New Town has been around for some time, since the 50's I think and a lot of what's been here still is although with a new facade & paint job. The MPPJ building still looks as sad though. Sunset at Oyster Bay, Long Island, originally uploaded by Tor-Ivar.
This shot was taken one evening we were out looking for a particular restaurant someone recommended to us in the Oyster Bay area... We didn't find the restaurant, but found this scenery :-)
It is taken with 10-22 mm, and relatively slow shutterspeed (tripod). No filters used.

reptiles are amazing, look at their colours, they are just not meant for the boring human world where we are all various dull shades of colour! White/black/brown etc, oh how dull people's skin colur is!
I mean the vividness of the reptiles colour hues and intensity of colour is just incredible! owch!!

I took both the Holga and the Diana along when we hiked up Tucumcari Mountain in late September. I'd forgotten about those images until I rounded up a few spent rolls that I had in the car and took them to Apertures this week. The image above was shot with the Holga. The trippy colors are what you get when you expose a roll of expired Agfa film to a sunny New Mexico morning.
