When trying to upload a png file I am getting the following error:

just like theapparatus said, it had something to do with get_pages.. the actual code for it becomes
$pages = get_pages('sort_column=menu_order');
and youll get it sorted out by

Funny MySQL kept working. Probably on a different server. Likely there was a problem with the file system and Linux automounted the drive as read-only.
