i can get 1/1000th pretty reliably with my d70 and ebay triggers, im sure with PW's it would be at least same if not faster. you don't have to cover anything with either system because they only connect to the sync conta

If the PC connection is loose you need:
A good PC tip conditioner to reshape the male PC connector.
OR
A new cord
I suggest the first option, with a PC connector, you will be back at this move over and over.
